Our Story

Decades before there was "recreational cannabis consumption" Holly and Hkeem DuPart used to smoke weed. In Amsterdam, at All you can Smoke Parties, Cannabis Cups, internationally and stateside, they smoked and entertained other cannabis lovers and were hosted by other lovers of the plant. They were The Chicago Cannabis Club. But life, as it will, changed.

Holly DuPart was hit with a double diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus. Later, husband Hkeem conquered diabetes and two battles of cancer. Cannabis was no longer just for fun, now, it was medicine.

Now, as Holly's High Society, they are focused on creating opportunities for others to enjoy cannabis as a part of their wellness, personal and professional journeys.

From Whiskey to Weed; One Families Cannabis Journey

Manny Williams is no stranger to the smell of cannabis inside of 2911 Claire Blvd., Robbins, Illinois: His bar had been at that location since the late 60's. Back then, there were 29 churches and 29 bars. The churches survived but most of the bars are gone. When he passed on the location to his children he assumed he'd smell weed inside again, but never imagined in this way. Now at 87, Manny is part owner of what will soon become the first Cannabis Campus in Illinois.

Dawn Lee is the reluctant Matriarch of our family now and takes care of all of us. Dawn's heavy Management, Finance and Operations experience helped in the old business as well as the new. She's been instrumental in planning and strategy and will continue to be a driving force in staying mission and customer centric.

Kyan DuPart wears multiple hats: While in college he's the Help Desk, Web Designer, Administration, Operations, Maintenance, Construction and also removes any dead animals if necessary. He is pursuing a Law degree and plans to focus on Business Law and Cannabis. Soleil DuPart is marvelous with her phone and can solve virtually any problem, virtually: She's in college to pursue a career in Clinical Psych.
